Animal welfare is important because there are so many animals around the world suffering from being used for entertainment, food, medicines, fashion, scientific advancement, and as an exotic pets. It is our duty to ensure all animals are treated humanely, responsively and with respect. Each animal should have nutrition, environment, health, behaviour and stable mental state.
